This is my go-to deodorant recipe for staying fresh during the cold months in Tennessee. I’ve never tested this recipe during the hot months and would imagine the deodorant would turn pretty soft or liquid?
Coconut oil (76 degree)
Simply take about a ¼ cup of arrowroot powder and mix in some coconut oil until you have a thick paste. That’s it.
Now I sell a deodorant, but I’m sensitive to baking soda. So this recipe works better for me. Now I’ve told you my secret recipe and I’m planning on selling this retail in the future. The only problem would be during the hot months, but I believe purchasing 92 degree coconut oil might help solve the melting point in the hot months?
Applying this deodorant is very easy with your fingers. The coconut oil naturally melts when you apply it to your warm skin. I love it.
Anyways this recipe should keep you dry and smelly free. Consider mixing a few drops of your favorite essential oil for a natural fragrance.
