You can gently remove dead skin cells with bamboo charcoal. Plus bamboo charcoal is good for cleansing your skin pores of bacteria and irritants. If you have ever rubbed bamboo charcoal between your fingers, you will notice that the bamboo charcoal is slightly abrasive. This is what makes bamboo charcoal a very mild exfoliate for the skin.
The easiest way to apply bamboo charcoal is using a bamboo soap bar. Would you believe I happen to make an excellent bamboo charcoal soap. 😀
The bar I make is a dual purpose bar. One half is bamboo charcoal and the other half is cocoa butter. So not only are you exfoliating your skin, but also moisturizing your skin in the process.
Also my bamboo charcoal and cocoa butter bar is great for occasionally deep cleansing your scalp and hair.
Take a look at the ingredients in my bamboo charcoal and cocoa butter bar. I put 3 different essential oils into the bar for a unique natural fragrance. All ingredients are great for the skin and hair!
Lavender, Sage and patchouli essential oil
Tennessee spring water.
